Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is just less than 24 hours away to march towards the IFA 2014 stage in Berlin. Since few days, we are witnessing an uncountable number of leaks, specifically such that are related to devices that will likely be unveiled during the expo in Germany.
Today, it’s time again for the Xperia Z3 Compact, but instead of official-looking press photos, this time around we have highly unofficial specs.
According to Polish Komorkomania reports, Xperia Z3 Compact has a 4.6-inch 1080p Triluminos display, just like the Sony Xperia Z2. Although this time it can apparently reach 600 nits at peak brightness, which should improve outdoor visibility.
The other unofficial Z3 Compact specs are:
- a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 20.7-megapixel Sony Exmor RS rear camera sensor, capable of 4K video recording
- 2.2-megapixel selfie snapper
- stereo speakers
- 16GB of microSD-expandable storage
- IP68-certified: dust- and water-resistant
- 2600 mAh battery
- Dimensions of 127 x 64.9 x 8.6 mm (5 x 2.55 x 0.33 in), weight of 129 g (4.55 oz.)
The design of the upcoming device is quite similar to that of the model it is bound to replace. The most noticeable difference is the presence of a speaker slot below the display – right in line with previous leaks.
The leaked images also reveal thats the Xperia Z3 Compact sports a tiny, nano-SIM slot, and will come in four colors: black, white, orange, and green.
Update: The images below are claimed to be official press renders of the upcoming Xperia Z3 Compact. Explore them out and let us know of your thoughts on its looks and color variants!
