Sony Xperia Z3, Sony’s new upcoming flagship continues to be in the news. Earlier this month a bunch of Xperia Z3 images have been spotted where the device was encased in a transparent protective casing covering its back and sides. Now the back case cover made by Baseus has been put up for sale on eBay.
Baseus is a company that makes digital accessories including smartphone protective covers and cases for the big brands like Sony, Samsung, Nokia, HTC and LG.
The listing for Xperia Z3 case on eBay says:
“Baseus Ultrathin PC Transparent Back Case Cover Skin for Sony Xperia Z3” and is priced at US $6.99.
Unfortunately, the images available on eBay are only those of the case and none of them are shown covering the Xperia Z3 smartphone. In the first image given below you will notice that the slot on the case and the Smartphone camera/LED flash position do not match. This is because the Xperia Z3 case is actually shown with the Xperia Z1 Compact that has the LED flash on the side of the camera. However we can gather from the leaked images that the Xperia Z3 has the LED flash placed below the camera and the slot in the Baseus case willcertainly match that.
As for specs, GFXBench has found that the Sony Xperia Z3 is quite similar to the Xperia Z2 on the hardware front. Both the smartphones sport the same 5.1-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM and a 20.7MP primary rear camera.
It would be interesting to see what new features Sony would be adding to its new flagship. Well, the IFA 2014 is not far away and the suspense will be revealed soon. Till then, there are sure to be more leaks and revelations till its September launch. So watch out this space for more updates!
