The South Korean Giant, Samsung has come up with various smartphones in different range, starting from the entry level market to the high end market. Now the company has once again come up with its new Galaxy Pocket 2 and Galaxy Core 2 Duos. Both these devices were spotted on the Vietnamese online store. These devices are not yet announced but we can expect them to be hitting the market pretty soon.
We have already seen Galaxy Pocket in the year 2012 and also the company’s Pocket Neo and Pocket Plus variants last year. The upcoming Galaxy Pocket 2 will be an entry level smartphone running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. Interestingly the device features small 3.2 inch QVGA display supporting dual SIM alike most of the entry level devices. It will be powered by a 1 GHz single core processor coupled with 512 MB of RAM featuring 2 MP rear camera, 4GB internal memory and HSDPA along with it.
Looking at Galaxy Core 2 Duos, superior off the two will also run Android KitKat OS supporting dual SIM. It has a 4.5 inch display with WVGA resolutions and will be powered by an 768 MB of RAM coupled by unknown quad-core processor . Moreover the camera is upgraded to a 5 MP rear facing one with flash, accompanied with a VGA front camera. The inbuilt storage will be at 4 GB which can be expandable via microSD.
The listing has been removed immediately and we need to wait for the official announcement by Samsung. Since the specifications have started being leaked along with the press shots, we can expect these devices to go official soon.
