Well, it seems that apart from just its flagship handsets, Samsung is putting a great amount attention to its Galaxy A series handset. After the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 that feature all metal bodies, it now seems that the company is now focusing on the Galaxy A7 whose recently leaked specs reveal it to be a higher segment mid-ranger.
Unlike the Galaxy A3 and the Galaxy A5 that have a Snapdragon 410 chipset, the Samsung Galaxy A7 is like to have an octa-core Exynos 5433 SoC the one that has been used in the Galaxy Note 4. However, there have been rumors that the Galaxy A7 would host a Snapdragon 615 but it seems that the Exynoss 5433 would be real treat with 1.3Ghz Cortex A53 cores and high power 1.8GHz Cortex A57 cores.
Additionally, the Galaxy A7 is expected to have a 5.5inch full HD display with 1080p resolution. Moreover, the device is likely to feature a 2GB of RAM, 13MP primary camera at the back, 5MP secondary front-facing camera, 16GB of storage and a 2600mAh of battery life. The device is expected to be very slim with just 6.3mm of thickness and weighing just 150 grams.
It is even possible that Samsung could place this handset in the higher segment pricing range. Well, before speculating anything further, we would wait for the official word from the company.
