Since many days, there were much rumors and news pertaining to the Samsung’s ATIV SE, but it seems that the Korean giant did not wanted to make much noise for it and now it has launched this Windows Phone device in a silent partnership with Verizon. The device will be available for $599 off-contract or for $199 on a two year deal. This Windows Phone will roll-out the market on April 12 the next after the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S5.
Moreover, buyers will also get a buy one get one scheme from Verizon on ATIV SE. the deal says that if a buyer gets the handset on a contract along with a new two year deal, he/she can get HTC One(M8), Galaxy S5 or another ATIV SE with no upfront payment.
The Samsung ATIV SE sports a 5inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM,13MP primary and 2MP secondary camera, 16GB storage with microSD support, powered with Windows Phone 8 and 4G LTE connectivity. It is likely that Microsoft will update the OS to the recent Windows Phone 8.1 in the near future.
