Well, the Cyanogen Mod based OnePlus has been released last month, however fans  might need to wait until late of June to receive an invitation from the other side for you to be able to get the device. Oppo, recently, has declared a news regarding the accessibility of its initial smart-phone. While the initial second-quarter worldwide release date still seems on time, the company has looked upon several adjustments due to the massive requirement for it.

The OnePlus One has already been released about a week ago. The fan-club is still looking for the opportunity to see it broadly available for them soon. But, it does not look like happening with that much ease as company has made following announcement.

“In our updated plan, we prioritized for two aspects; time to market and availability of the high capacity model (in that order). We now know that people want the 64GB Sandstone Black far more than the 16GB Silk White, but we also know that more than everything, people just want to get their hands on the device as soon as possible.”

“What we’ve done is dramatically increase the amount of 64GB Sandstone Black models in our production plans, while producing 16GB Silk White as long as they don’t delay the time to market for Sandstone Black.”

The production schedule has been arranged in order as mentioned below:

  1. Ready now – 100 for phone smashers
  2. Mid to late May – Larger batch 16GB Silk White for the first batch of invites
  3. Early June – Larger batch 64GB Sandstone Black
  4. Later in June – Increased general availability, people who want it should be able to get an invite without much trouble in June

The first 100 OnePlus Ones will be available to those who are willing to associate with the company’s “Smash Your Phone” contest. The contest essentially requires a contestant to take a video of them smashing their existing smart-phone. The company will choose the 100 videos which race ahead (with the participant allowed to purchase the device for only $1). They might get a chance for 3 invites to purchase the OnePlus One.

Apart of that, people with initial invites can get the device by mid to late May.The 16GB Silk White Version, which is priced around $300 .As for now,the 64GB Sandstone Black version costs $350. By June, as predicted, there will be an increased accessibility to the device. The customer-invite procedure still would be there but it would be easy to get in future.
