Motorola had announced last week that it would launch the company’s new smartphone at events held in London and India on May 13. The event invites said that it would be a ”priced for all” phone and speculations are rife that it would be the Moto E smartphone.
As reported by AndroidOS a few days back, India’s import and export data website Zauba showed that Motorola Moto E XT1022 had already been shipped from China to Bangalore. So it is pretty certain that the company’s new smartphone being launched on May 13 is the Motorola Moto E and it would probably hit the Indian shelves soon after it’s unveiling. There is no news as yet about its availability in other markets.
@Leaksterinc claims on Twitter that the Motorola Moto E XT1022 would come with a price tag of Rs.8999 and would be available in white color only via Flipkart. The import value listed in Zuba website also suggests that the Moto E may cost somewhere around Rs.8000 to Rs.9000.
Specs for the new Motorola basic smartphone to be launched in May as leaked by Technoblog (translated) about a month back reveal that it would be a dual-SIM phone having a 4.3-inch display, 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GBinternal memory, 5MP camera and a 1900 mAh battery. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Introduction of an affordable smartphone in the market would definitely be appreciated by many Motorola fans. Let us see what the much awaited May 13 launch by the company reveals.
