Chinese handset manufacturer Oppo has finally unveiled its Oppo R7 and the larger variant the Oppo R7 Plus and this time the company seems to have put a lot of focus on the design quotient of the two devices. However, both the device host some very mid-range specs as compared to the other flagship handsets available out there. The major USP for both these handsets is its design and build. The promo video released by the company (below) shows it to be having a metal build and the screen with a 2.5D glass. The larger variant the Oppo R7 Plus offers an almost bezel-less look to the handset.
Looking to its design and specs, the two handsets are said to be made from the metal unibody cases and a 2.5D glass to its front. The Oppo R7 has got 5” display size while the R7 Plus comes with a 6” display size and both have a 1080 x1920 of pixel resolution. Under the hood, lies a powerful 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset. Both these handsets have a 3GB of RAM memory, 13MP F2.2 of primary camera to its back and 8MP F2.4 secondary snapper to its front. The larger variant Oppo R7 Plus has also got a finger-print scanner to its back. The Oppo R7 come with a battery support of 2340mAh while the R7 Plus has got 4100mAh of battery life. Both these handsets support the company’s famous VOOC fast charging technology charging up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
