Last week, Copenhagen based smartphone maker, Lumigon unveiled a new 4.3 inch T2 HD smartphone as a successor to T2 with a premium stainless steel body. While announcing the device, CEO Lars Gravesen said “This phone is a piece of quality craftsmanship that we’ve built with care and passion. The materials used were carefully selected to be durable without losing their exclusive look and feel. You feel the quality clearly when holding the device in your hand. Therefore, we encourage everyone to feel the difference.”
The Lumigon T2 HD comes with a 4.3 inch HD display with 720p resolution and an added protection of the Corning Gorilla Glass 2. IT has a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with clock rate of 1.7GHz. IT runs the Android 4.3 on-board with an upgrade to Android 4.4 ahead. The device hosts 2GB RAM, Andreno 320 GPU and comes in three different storage options of 32, 64 and 128GB internal memory with an additional microSD support. The device has a 13 megapixel Full HD primary camera along with flash and lowlight backside illuminator sensor. The front-facing camera is 2.4MP Full HD with a unique FrontFlash facility. This feature is really useful for those who are fond of taking selfies. With the FrontFlash feature, users will also be able to make video calls in low-light conditions. The sound quality is excellent as the device hosts Bang & Olufsen ICEpower technology that gives premium sound output.
The device comes with various connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared transmitter and receiver, FM receiver, A-GPS with GLONASS and also has a microUSB port. IT has various sensors like Compass, G-sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope, Ambilight and provides a 1700mAh of battery juice. The good part of the device is that it is water and dust resistant and hence can be used in any weather condition.
The device will appear in Denmark in the second quarter at a price tag of 730 Euros or $1000. This is something that might make it sales low as many other tech giants are offering their flagship devices at a much lower quote. The 24-carat-gold limited edition is also to appear ahead of course at a higher price.
