Last month at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona, LG had launched three new smartphones under the L Series III. This new series includes the L40, L70 and the L90 wherein all the devices have an almost similar specs except for their different screen size. Moreover, all the devices will also run Android KitKat 4.4.


One from the trio the L70 was recently spotted on Taiwanese website ePrice along with the Amazon German that showed the L70 with a shipping date of April 1. The L70 was listed on ePrice for $163 whereas at the Amazon German, it was listed for €179 ($246). The device was also spotted on Clove UK listed for £165 ($272). Here is a look at some of the technical specifications of the device.

The LG L70 comes with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display having 800×400 pixel resolution with 16M colors, dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 CPU with Adreno 320 GPU, 1GB RAM, 8/5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, latest Android 4.4 KitKat and a Li-Ion battery with back-up of nearly 2100mAh.

In comparison to the previous L7 II Series smartphone, the L70 takes advantage with a larger RAM and the latest Android KitKat 4.4 but the L7 II beats it in terms of battery backup and camera.
