Marked with the quote, “To be simple is to be Great”, the invitation hints that LG will be taking the phone back to basics, providing a simple, fast and high-spec smartphone. The successor of G2 already had listed its price at mobile carrier LG U+ while a dummy unit was also spotted in its home country store of South Korea. LG has raised expectations for their next flagship smartphone from the teaser video itself.
The official website of LG U+ has revealed the LG G3(F400L) with a price tag of 650,000 won(approx. US$ 635).It will be available in white, gold and titan color variants. The price tag is clearly higher than that of other flagship models of competitors, but we have already concluded from the leaks, LG G3 has gone much out of the box this time.
Precising the dummy unit, LG G3 really comes with extremely thin bezels and will have a redesigned back button. The location of the IR Blaster, 3.5mm audio port, and USB port can also be seen from this dummy unit. LG G3 provides top notch camera combining laser autofocus system with optical image stabilization and a 13MP rear camera. The other specs we already know that it’s going to have a 5.5-inch IPS QHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (534 ppi). It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8975AC Snapdragon 801 chip that comes with four Krait 400 cores with a clock speed of 2.26 GHz and an Adreno 330 GPU.
LG is expecting 10 million units of the LG G3 which is relatively a high number. Considering the company’s sales record for the LG G2 and the Nexus 5 this target is somewhat feasible.
