Lenovo has recently launched four new budget tablets in its A series lineup. These tablet are specifically for those who are looking for budget Android tablets. Now the company has decided that it will launch these tablets starting from US in May. Let’s have a look at their specs.


 Lenovo TAB A7-40 and A7-50

Both the tablets have a 7-inch IPS display, a quad-core 1.3GHz MTK8121 MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with microSD support, 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and a sufficiently large 3450mAh battery. The tablet measures 0.4” of thickness and 11.2 ounces of weight.

Both the tablets will be released this May at a price of $129 and are specifically launched for readers to read books. The difference between the two is A7-40 does not have any rear camera and has 8GB internal storage while the A7-50 has 16GB storage and a 5MP rear camera.

Lenovo TAB A8

The Lenovo TAB A8 is basically an entertainment device and hosts an 8-inch IPS HD display with 1280×800 pixel resolution and all other similar specs as mentioned above. However this tablet has been provided with a larger battery back-up of 4200mAh to power up the larger display. The devices measures 0.35 inch in thickness and 12.7 ounces.

This device is very ideal for multimedia content like watching movies, playing high-end graphic games and much more. This device is priced for $179 and will be available through different retailers.

Lenovo TAB A10

This tablet is a bit topped up version of the above ones and comes with an optional Bluetooth keyboard. The device sports a 10” IPS display with all other features similar except for the larger 6340mAh battery backup, 0.35” thickness, and weighs 1.2 pounds. The tablet alone costs $249 and along with the Bluetooth keyboard it costs $299.

These tablets are a real value for money to those who want to get good mid-range features at reasonable cost.
