Dutch website OneMoreThing has recently showcased first and fresh new images of the upcoming second generation iPad air 2 that have leaked straight away from China’s factory. What appears from the images is that the upcoming iPad Air 2 will now even slimmer as the LCD layer seems to have been integrated into the glass itself whereas it was kept separate in the existing iPad Air.
Another image of the front panel compared with a coin has also appeared which shows it to be just 1.5mm thick. This means that Apple could put an even larger battery into the device.
The iPad Air 2 is believed to arrive in the third quarter Q3 of this year along with the Touch ID fingerprint sensors that comes in the existing iPhone 5s. The iPad Air 2 is believed to also host Apple’s 64-A8 processor along with an 8MP camera.
