The next Google Nexus tablet i.e. the Nexus 9 built by HTC is mostly on its way as a recent filing confirms that the HTC Nexus 9 is certainly a realy deal and could be released as soon as later this month. This information has recently arrived from NVIDIA’s legal filings that are associated to the legal battle of the company against Samsung and Qualcomm over some of the GPU technology patents.
This section highlights more from the marketing perspective talking more about the Tegra K1 SoC and mentions about how the chip is “so powerful it is being used in products other than smartphones and tablets” just like TVs, Chromebooks and Project Tango tablet which is associated with tracking and mapping of 3D environments. Later in the same section, NVIDIA mentions “HTC Nexus 9, expected in the third quarter of 2014”.
With September being the last month of Q3, we expect the device to go official in coming days soon! Just a recap, the HTC Nexus 9 will feature a 8.9inch display having 2560×1600 pixel resolution with a Tegra K1 64-bit processor tipped on-board.
