The latest offering from the Taiwanese company is the HTC Desire 820. They have started giving out invitations for a press event on September 23. The details of the event are still unknown. Even though there are no official words about the launch of HTC Desire 820 in India, we are sure that it will be the one to be showcased at the venue.
The HTC Desire 820 is the first to offer Qualcomm’s 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 615 processor, which went official at the IFA 2014 expo earlier this month. The phone could have limited launch because it is mainly designed and targeted to attract OEMs in Asia.
The company is planning to rush the octa core handsets keeping in mind that they are a pretty big hit in India, where its predecessor, Desire 816, has made a mark on the market. The device sports a very simple design but at the same time looks attractive due to its multi-color scheme.
The phone comes with a large 5.5 inch 720p LCD Display, which is similar to its predecessor. It features dual, font-facing speakers and HSPA+ connectivity and dual-SIM enabled. The front camera is a 8MP shooter, perfect for selfies and the rear is a 13MP lens on the rear. The key specs of HTC Desire 820 handset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core processor with 2GB Ram, 16 GB storage. The storage can be expanded to 128GB. The screen as mentioned before is a 5.5-inch 720p HD LCD touchscreen. It sports the latest android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 2600mAh battery.
No official price has been released as of now, we will wait for September 23 for more information on the price and other inside news about the phone.
