Apple is generating a lot more buzz with the launching date of iPhone 6 coming nearby. We already know 4.7 inch iPhone 6 variant would be hitting the market before 5.5 inch iPhone 6, and it seems there may be a reason for that. Till now the rumors suggesting that the two variants will have the same internals but the latest reports reveals different ones.
Cowen & Co. analyst Timothy Arcuri has told the investors in a report that Apple will be using two different processors on the basis of its Asian supply checks. The 5.5 inch iPhone 6 variant will be having faster and more capable processor than the 4.7 inch iPhone 6. Besides clock speed, there might be also a difference in the architecture of the two processors. The bigger model would allow more space for further significant upgrades to things like the GPU cores and more.

There will be a difference in the touch module also since the larger one will probably come with a sapphire display .It is expected to be costlier and its demand is being estimated as way lesser than the 4.7 inch iPhone unit.
This wouldn’t be much of a shocker given that the iPad Air is also clocked faster than the iPad mini, despite using the same A7 processor. Apple might be taking a hint from Samsung’s playbook and having the larger iPhone 6 with faster internals, just like the Samsung Galaxy Note is a spec upgrade compared to the Galaxy S series.
