Xiaomi Mi5 is currently the most looked after high-end flagship from the company. Moreover, the good news is that Xiaomi president Lei Jun has given the confirmation of a flagship launch at the CES expo next week. There has been a doubt whether the new model would be named as Mi5 or Mi4s. Yesterday a new image that is an alleged Xiaomi Mi5 sporting in black color variant has leaked online.

As seen in the above image the screen is said to be between 5.5-5.7 inches. This would be much larger compared to the existing Xiaomi Mi4 with a 5inch display. Earlier leaked of the Xiaomi Mi5 in white color reveals a light sensor, a front-facing camera, Mi logo and side bezels. In this case the Mi logo has went missing.

Looking to its specs, the Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to have a 5.5-5.7 inch display with 1440×2560 pixel resolution. The device is said to be powered with a 64bit Snapdragon 810 chipset supported with 3GB of RAM memory. To its back would a be a powerful 20.7MP camera and a limited edition sapphire screen model of the same handset is said to be coming along with. It is said that Xiaomi will produce 50,000 units of this limited edition model.

Your wait would not go much longer as we expect the official word from the company regarding its flagship in the next week at the CES expo.
