According to a recent tweet from @evleaks, US carrier Verizon will launch the mini variant of the recently launched HTC One M8. It would be interesting to see whether Verizon will exclusively launch the phone or will the exclusivity hold just for 2 weeks as in the case of HTC One M8 where for the first two weeks Verizon for offering the device in stores while Sprint and AT&T could offer it online only.

A previous leak at @evleaks also had put some light on the specs of the device. The HTC One M8 mini is likely to sport a 4.5” 720p display, a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, HTC Sense 6.0, 13MP rear camera with LED flash 5MP front-facing camera, connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 4.0. The HTC One M8 mini will be powered with Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

If rumors are to be believed, the device will likely make an appearance next month in May.
