Sony’s premium Android Tablet, the Xperia Z2 Tablet is set to roll out in the US. Pre-orders have already started through the company’s online store.  The 16 GB Tablet will cost $499.99 in the US and its 32 GB variant will cost an additional $100, taking the price up to $599.99.


The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet as launched in Barcelona in February and is the successor of Sony Xperia Z Tablet.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet sports a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution Triluminos display, powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 6,000 mAh battery, 8.1-megapixel rear camera and a 2.2-megapixel front camera. The Tablet runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet has 16 GB internal storage, expandable further up to 64 GB through a microSD card. The Tablet is water proof and dust resistant just like its predecessor.

The Japanese manufacturer is also offering accessories such as Bluetooth Headphones, Micro USB Quick Charger and NFC Bluetooth Headset for the Xperia Z2 Tablet.
