Sony India has launched its new slimmest 7 mm smartphone- the Xperia T3 ,featuring a high-resolution 5.3- inch HD TRILUMINOS display.

The Xperia T3 is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor,1GB RAM clocked at 1.4GHz and runs on Android v4.4.2 (KitKat) operating system. It is packed with Cyber-shot leading camera, featuring an 8MP camera featuring Exmor RS for mobile, which can capture photos even in challenging lighting conditions. It also houses a 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

It weighs around 148 grams and the steel used in the frame ensures the durability of its slim design. The back cover is designed with matte material, which helps Xperia T3 feel slim and light in your hand, despite its robust build. It is fuelled with a long-lasting 2500 mAh battery. The Battery STAMINA Mode helps you enjoy your entertainment experience for a longer time.

The Xperia T3 features camera apps like Social live that allows the user to broadcast live via Facebook and allows to share comments in real time on the phone’s screen.It also has the Xperia Transfer, an easy, safe and simple app that helps move contacts, photos, bookmarks, apps, music, messages from old Android or iOS device to the new Xperia T3.


The Timeshift burst mode takes 31 frames within just two seconds inorder to capture the perfect shot. The Portrait Retouch makes sure you’re always captured looking your best with features including real-time makeup, deco frame and other options. You can also see changes in real time, before capturing the shot to ensure a photogenic finish.

Xperia T3 is available at all Sony centres, Xperia Flagship and major electronic stores across India from July 28. It is priced at Rs 27,990 in three different colours which Include white, black and purple.
