Samsung has launched a trio of new Galaxy Tab4 tablet series with different size variants for gaining ground over Apple’s iPad.

All three new Samsung Galaxy Tab4 devices pre-order sales already started since 24th May by Samsung and will hit multiple online as well as retail stores from May 1st onwards. The Galaxy Tab 4 coming in 7, 8, and 10.1-inch sizes are priced at $199, $269, and $349 respectively. Initially only Wifi models will be launched and 4G LTE variants will be available soon in the late summer.


All three tablets announced have the same internal specs of a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB onboard storage(7-inch tablet also have 8 GB version), 3 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front-facing cameras with Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Samsung is offering larger batteries corresponding with their sizes like 4000 mAh, 4450 mAh and 6800 mAh respectively.They are having a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, which is HD, but isn’t comparable to the iPad Air or Mini Retina, or other Android tablets that have been released as of late.

Each tablet will be available in black and white color options. Users will be able to get any of the three tablets from May 1st from Amazon, Best Buy, Frys, Office Max, Office Depot, Sears and Tiger Direct, as well as from devices don’t quite stack up to Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro,Note Pro lineup or iPad, but the low prices should make them a tablet worth considering.
