This is a concrete example of a power couple. Two of the leading brands in their expertise come together to bring you monumental results. If you still remember rumors came out that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would be mechanized by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC. And now ZDNet Korea is giving the idea of a validation and even more. It is also supposed that Samsung and Qualcomm are actually joining forces for a bigger project, Qualcomm having exclusive transactions with Samsung regarding chipsets.
This led another brand, most commonly known as LG, getting a little irate because of the selective favourable treatment.
We are all curious about updates with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It has been in the spotlight for a while now. Last time I checked, a benchmark test result leaked that Note 4 will be housing two processors, Exynos 5433 and Snapdragon 805. And now here in this news, only one remained.
It is still elusive why Samsung is getting into this deal when they are given ‘two digits per chip’ discount on the Snapdragon 805. That is about $10-$99. It is not a very sympathetic arrangement as according to IHS teardown report, Samsung got the Snapdragon 801 on the Galaxy S5 for $41 per chip. Samsung has not given a word yet, but it is most likely that the Galaxy Note 4 will feature the Snapdragon 805 since it is known to work remarkable performance with smartphones.
