The latest leaks coming from the industry show that Samsung might be planning on a new mid-range E series handsets. After releasing the A series or the Galaxy Alpha, the company seems to be planning on new E series as specs for the SM-E700 and E500 have popped out. Now the company could also launch them under the banner of Galaxy E series handsets.

The Samsung SM-E700 is likely to have a 720p HD display just similar to the E5. The E700 would have a chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and the E500 would have a chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. the SM-E700 had been previously spotted on the Zauba import database where it was listed to have a 5.5” display and the E500 to have a 5” display.

However, the specs for the device show them to be falling in the lower mid-range segment. However, we expect some very good design or built quality as we saw with recently announced A-series smartphones. Take a look at the below screenshots that reveal few details regarding these devices.
