After leaks and rumors hit the crust of social media one by one, it was just a matter of time of launching of Galaxy S5 by Samsung. Now, without wasting their time, they have started the flagship handset’s official market launch across more than 125 countries.
The gadget, ideally, will be available from local shops and retailers for $700 and up. The color options for the same will be black, white, blue and gold (though some colours might not be available at some places, as reported by sources)
The Galaxy S5 touts many outstanding features, such as IP67 water-proof certification, also a finger-print scanner and heart-rate sensor, it has a 16MP camera consisting fast autofocus. Galaxy S5 has gone large a big time with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display having 1080p resolution, and brags about a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, internal storage of16 GB which is expandable by a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, LTE, NFC, and HSPA+ connectivity, and a 2,800 mAh battery. It has Android 4.4 KitKat with the latest version of Samsung’s TouchWiz skin incorporated in it, which has been modernized to be quicker and has been prearranged a flatter visual outlook.
Apart from that, Samsung has showcased two smart-watches this year which are the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, and a gorgeous fitness tracker, the Gear Fit. All three are attuned with the Galaxy S5 and other 20+ existing Galaxy handsets .As far as pricing is concerned, you will be spending $299 for the Gear 2, where as $199 for the Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit. The trio of wearables are waterproof as the Galaxy S5 and has provision of the interchangeable straps.
