Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone is now available at MetroPCS, which is a bit late considering that the Galaxy S5 was released through major US carriers last week including its parent company T-mobile.
The pre-paid carrier MetroPCS announced that Galaxy S5 was being sold online and in its retail stores across the US. Customers can pick it up by pairing it with unlimited contract free plans of MetroPCS that start at $40.
Alternatively, they can buy the black model through the MetroPCS retail stores for $649 plus tax. This price $10 less than the price charged by T-Mobile for the Galaxy S5 contract free. However, T-Mobile sells the white model too. Can’t say whether MetroPCSD will add other colors to it stock.
In MetroPCS’ announcement for the availability of Galaxy S5, its COO and executive vice president Tom Keys says, ”MetroPCS is on a fast-track to becoming America’s #1 prepaid brand because our customers get the best value in wireless plus the hottest devices, like the new Samsung Galaxy S 5 – without being locked into a long-term contract.”
The MetroPCS website says for Samsung Galaxy S5, “The Next Big Thing is Here. The Samsung Galaxy S 5 delivers meaningful innovation that enhances your life, day in and day out.” The page also gives the specifications for the S5 device.
There is no doubt that Samsung Galaxy S5 has generated a lot of interest among the consumers.
