Korean giant Samsung has just launched its premium flagship Galaxy S5 last month and now rumors for the Active variant of the flagship have started catching up heat in the market. Samsung has yet to officially voice the Galaxy S5 Active till now but yet the device has made an appearance on a hands-on video recently. There has been another video as well on YouTube that has been spotted!

In the first video, the device appears as the AT&T version of the Galaxy S5 Active with the model number SM-G870A and appears in a sufficiently long 4 minute video.

What appears from the video is that the Active version of the handset follows almost the same track like its predecessor S4 Active and will be a more robust and toughened version of the original Galaxy S5. The person taking the video has also puts a claim that the Galaxy S5 Active has an AMOLED display with higher resolution than the G900. Take a look at the video here.


The other video that has appeared on YouTube reveals the benchmark performance of the device and confirms the device to be having a Full HD 1080p display. The Galaxy S5 Active is expected to arrive anytime ahead. From earlier rumors that have came till now, the device is likely to carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Soc with 2GB of RAM and 16MP of primary shooter camera.
