Korean giant Samsung launched its this year’s flagship Galaxy S5 earlier last month after which it was followed with the launch of its “Zoom” i.e. the Galaxy K Zoom in April end. Now everyone is eyeing on the Prime and the Active version of the Galaxy S5 which Samsung releases as a part of its every year’s trend. It seems that even after certifying its flagship with IP67 for dust and water resistance, its Active version with even better shield is soon to arrive.
However, the recent news show that the Active version is all set to pack even more powerful hardware with sheer raw processing power with new Snapdragon 801. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has recently made appearance on the AnTuTu benchmark which reveals details about the internal hardware of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active which is likely to host the topped up Snapdragon 801 chipset will run the Android 4.4.2 KitKat with 2GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active will come with 1080p screen resolution and will have an identical 16MP back camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active G870A is expected to arrive sooner and we would be eager to see the first images of the device to be coming soon. Last year’s S4 Active had completely different design so let’s see how Samsung packs its this year’s Active version.
