At the starting of the year, Microsoft had announced the hardware partners for its Windows Phone and Prestigio was one of them. Prestigio is a well-known handset maker in Cyprus and shares a good market presence in Africa, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
The company, is yet to officially announce its first Windows Phone, however the device has managed to make an appearance in few renders along with a list of specs.


The recently spotted Prestigio Windows Phone is reportedly called as the Prestigio MultiPhone PAP5507 DUO and the handset has been shown running the latest Windows Phone 8.1. The Prestigio handset has been spotted by a Russian website Hi-Tech which shows the device to come with a dual SIM support, a 5inch 720p IPS display. The MultiPhone PAP5507 DUO will be powered with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 that is clocked at 1.2GHz. The device will have 1GB of RAM with 8GB of expandable internal memory. The Prestigio MultiPhone will come with HSPA+ connectivity. At its back lies the 8MP shooter while its front hosts a 2MP camera.

The Prestigio MultiPhone is to make an entry at early July in Russia and few other European markets. The price is not clear at the moment, but we expect the device to come in affordable market segment.
