Many rumors about Sony’s next flagship, the Xperia Z4 are doing the rounds and the said device is expected to be unveiled by the company at its CES 2015 press conference to be held on January 5. Now many photos of the LCD touch digitizer of Sony Xperia Z4 have emerged.
In the pics, the Xperia Z4’s LCD touch digitizer has been compared to that of the Xperia Z3. Both the smartphones appear to have similar display sizes. Leaked Xperia Z4 specs had indicated a 5.5-inch quad HD touchcreen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. However, the leaked images suggest that the upcoming Sony flagship will have the same 5.2-inch screen as the Xperia Z3 but its resolution will be 2560 x 1440 pixels.
Although display sizes of both the phones seem to be similar, there are other changes. For instance, in the following image it can be clearly seen that the positions of the front-facing camera and the proximity sensor have been reversed in the two smartphones. The stereo speakers in the Xperia Z4 have been shifted to the top and bottom edges like those in the Xperia Z2.
Well, this is leaked information and it may or may not be true. We are sure to hear many more rumors about the Sony Xperia Z4 till the time things are confirmed by the company or the device is actually launched. Other leaked specs of Xperia Z4 include a 2.8GHz qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and also Q1 wireless charging support. We will have to wait and see whether there is any truth in this.
