Vega Iron 2 is the new Android Smartphone from Pantech that has been announced officially in its home market, South Korea. The high end LTE-A device will be available in the same country later this month. The snapshot below showcases a physical home button which has been almost vanished on the devices these days.

The Vega Iron 2 has a 5.3 inch 1080p AMLOED display running on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operating System.. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, clocking at 2.3 GHz, resulting disappointment as the previous rumors suggesting th Snapdragon 805 chipset. The smartphone features a 3GB RAM and has a mammoth 3,220 mAh battery on the back to power it.


On camera part, it has 13 MP rear facing one and a 2.1 MP front facing camera for selfies . Also camera sensors have optical image stabilization that is capable of taking 4K videos. The on-board memory of the device is at 32 GB and has the connectivity of 3G along with Blueooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The dimension of the device is at 144.2 x 73.5 x 7.9 mm,while its weight tips the scale at 152 grams.

The Pantech Vega Iron2 will be available in Black and White colour variant- both being manufactured using a metal frame. There’s no word on how much the smartphone will cost, and neither on an eventual international availability.We cannot expect this device to come out of South Korea as its predecessors also were limited to their home country.
