OnePlus is welcoming Apple Inc. to the “Plus” family by giving away a 64 GB OnePlus One smartphone, as well as 550 invites. The details for the contest can be found on their official Facebook page

OnePlus,the hardware venture headed by Pete Lau,is somewhat proud of the fact that, although it is sporting a similar display (5.5 inches with 401 ppi and 1080 x 1920 pixels ), its One is  still smaller than the Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus.

Moreover, the iPhone 6 Plus is the largest iPhone ever by Apple, though it is somewhat late to the competition. Other competitors have been releasing devices with displays larger than 5 inches for quite some time now.

OnePlus One, a new smartphone startup from China is ho;ding all the media shutterbugs in the technology community these days. The handset is featuring a 5.5” Full HD JDI made display with 401 ppi pixel density,  3GB LPDDR3 RAM, a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Krait 400 CPU, and much specially the CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 KitKat OS with a flat and minimal User Interface. It is having a massive number of custom themes and icons designed specifically for the OnePlus One and most importantly a long-lasting non-replaceable “3,100mAh” Li-Po battery.
