We all now know about Nokia’s entry in the world of Android with the launch of its Nokia X. However, recently Microsoft took over complete charge of the Finnish company’s devices business. Now, the computing giant Microsoft has released an update for Nokia X which upgrades the software version to thereby making the company’s cloud storage OneDrive to have its dedicated app installed along with the update.

This update also bring along a new Contact Transfer App making it easy for users to transfer their contacts from one device to another and even from the updated Nokia Store. This new update also comes with some stability enhancements, thereby eliminating the issues of lagging which the Nokia X suffered due to its low-end hardware and older OS. Well, all the Nokia X owners should check out for the update by straight away moving to Settings » About Phone » System Updates menu to download it manually.

Taking a look at its specs, the Nokia X comes with 4inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen, a 1GHz dual-core Cortex A-5 processor with Adreno 302 graphics support, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage with 32 GB microSD card slot. Nokia X runs the Android 4.1.2 Android Jelly Bean. At its back lies a 3MP primary shooter while the secondary camera is missing. The handset comes with a sufficient battery life of 1500mAh.
