Motorola, after the success of its Moto X and Moto G smartphones, might be preparing to launch a new handset codenamed Motorola XT912A, as its specifications have surfaced online on a popular graphics benchmark GFXBench.
As per benchmark results, Motorola XT912A is powered by a 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB RAM. Furthermore, the phone features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) HD display, 12MP rear-facing camera, 2MP front-facing shooter and 32GB of on-board storage. The handset runs Android 4.4.3 OS.
The successor to Moto X, Motorola’s flagship smartphone is likely to be called Moto X+1. Since @evleaks, the twitter account known for accurate smartphone related leaks, had already revealed its arrival in coming months. Additionally, as the codename XT912 is associated with the Motorola’s Droid Razr made for Verizon in 2011, and the unannounced Motorola XT912A might be part of Droid series.
Exploring all the online leaks we can suspect the next handset of Motorola can be either Moto X+1, or some kind of Droid Ultra sequel. Or who knows, a flagship device part of a different family and set to roll out internationally. Stay tuned to Doi-Toshin for further confirmed updates.
