Later this month on May 20th, Microsoft will unveil its Mini variant of its Surface Tablets which is assumedly believed to compete against the iPad mini. Here is an image showing a press invite for a “small” Surface event that is scheduled at 11am on 20th May.
The specific inclusion of the word “small” could mean a small press gathering to get a glimpse of the latest Surface device, but previous rumors have shown that Microsoft has been working on a mini version since long, and now it will arrive on May 20th.
The Microsoft Surface Mini will have an 8” display along with an ARM based processor and would possibly be powered with Windows RT. This March, Microsoft had launched its 4G LTE enabled Surface 2 at AT&T.
