LG last year in December launched its first smartphone with a curved display the LG G Flex and the device has gained a huge popularity world-wide for its design. This 6inch OLED display smartphone is now to get the awaited KitKat 4.4.2 update directly from LG. Till now the smartphone was running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and hence with this update its performance and interface would be improved considerably.
The new KitKat update will come along with the Knock Code lock/unlock feature released on the LG G2 Pro last month. However, the 4K recording feature for the device is still missing which LG needs to think on as various smartphones in high-end segment deliver this feature.
The LG G Flex comes with a 6 inch OLED curved display having a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, 2GB RAM, 13MP camera, 32GB storage, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and a huge 3,500mAh of battery. The smartphone also has a self-healing back cover protecting it from any minor scratches.
This can possibly a regional update at the moment as LG Korea has confirmed the roll-out. So if you belong to outside Korea you would have to wait a bit more for the update to arrive.
