This year looks interesting from Huawei’s point of view.  As the company has many things planned up for this year. Like last week Huawei launched website through which US consumers can buy Huawei handsets like Ascend Mate2 4G LTE. Now news of a new phone named ‘Mulan’ is doing rounds and we have got leaked high quality photos of the device. The photos were seen on Chinese social network “Wiebo”.

Nowadays a trend of using fingerprint scanner is picking up. From the new leak it seems that Mulan is also be using a fingerprint scanner. You can see the fingerprint scanner at the below the rear camera. From photos it is clear that phone will have metal bezels. This arrangement seems similar to HTC’s One Max phone.

From the hardware point of view Mulan is powered by Huawei own Kirin 920 chipset having four Cortex-A15 cores and four Cortex-A7 cores in a big.Little configuration all clocked at 1.3 GHz. Reportedly this chipset can easily outperform its current competitors like Samsung Exynos 5420, Qualcomm SnapDragon 801 or MediaTek MT6592. So Kirin 920 would be an interesting aspect of this phone.

Other specifications of Mulan are a 5-inch Full HD display, ARM Mali-T624 GPU, 3 GB of RAM and a 13 MP main shooter complemented by a secondary 5 MP front camera. Phone is running latest Andorid 4.4.2 Kitkat. Overall design of the phone feels sleek and smooth.

Huawei is expected to make Mulan official on 24th July. News is Huawei may call this device Glory 6 or Honor 6. So official launch is just few days away, till then keep visiting for more news, leaks and reviews.
