There is a video circulated in the internet on the upcoming model for Motorola. In the video it is hinted that the next device will be a rugged Android phone or tablet. The device was supposed to be released on October 21. While there is no official news on the device name, it will be most likely be TC70.

TC70 will be a handheld device running Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). It is primarily aimed for retail and manufacturing markets for inventory, asset management, audits and other enterprise usages. The device is IP67 certified which means that it is dustproof and waterproof making it suitable for usage in the rough environment.

It is equipped with 4.7 inch touchscreen display panel which made of Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The touchscreen also has scanner capabilities which can work with bare or gloved fingers or stylus even though it is wet. It is also has two cameras, the front camera is a 1.3MP while the back camera is a 8MP. The scanner is a barcode scanner and it is capable of reading 1D and 2D barcodes.

TC70 is running on dual-core Qualcomm 1.7GHz and 1GB of RAM. Moreover, it comes with internal memory of 8GB and can be expandable up to 32GB MicroSD card. The device is not equipped with a cell radio but it can transfer data by using Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. There are a few accessories available for the device, snap on handles, holsters and card readers.
