Hyper had launched iStick, the “World’s first USB flash drive with integrated Apple lightening connector” for iPhone and iPad in May 2014. The company had raised over $1.1 million through crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Hyper is now back with next generation iStick Pro that is also compatible with Android devices. It has a lightening connector at one end that can connect to Apple devices and it also has a Standard USB/micro USB connector at the other end for connecting to Laptops and Android devices.
Hyper announced its new iStick Pro flash drive at the CES 2015. In iStick Pro, the Standard USB connector transforms into a microUSB connector that is compatible with Android devices. By some ingenious design and engineering, the iStick Pro can now offer compatibility with a wide range of devices – Smartphones, Tablets and Laptops.
A free App for iOS and Android devices is also available with it for download. Because there are restrictions in the iOS platform, users will need the app for transferring files and viewing media on their Apple iOS devices. The iStick Pro makes a perfect external storage device for storing documents, photos, videos and audio tracks.
iStick Pro is available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage capacities. It will be available for purchase in March this year but its pricing details are not available yet.
