Chinese handset manufacturer and telecom giant Huawei officially announced its new Android handset the Ascend GX1. The handset is now available for purchase in the home-town for a affordable pricing of $225 or CNY 1590. Well, there is something special about this device and it’s the screen-to-body ratio.
The Huawei Ascend GX1 sports a 6inch display having 720p resolution and offers an excellent screen-to-body ratio of 80.5% quite similar to the high-end Ascend Mate 7 smartphone from the company. Under the hood lies a powerful 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. the connectivity options for the device are pretty good with NFC, LTE and dual SIM functionality. To its back, the device hosts a good 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP secondary front-facing camera. The memory options of the device include a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal expandable storage. Dimension wise the handset has a 9.2mm of thickness and weighs 173 grams. The device comes with an excellent 3500mAh of battery life. It runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat version on-board.
