Only about a month has passed since the launch of HTC’s new flagship, the HTC One M9 and the handsets have just started rolling out. The Taiwanese manufacturer has now launched another new smartphone, the HTC One M8s, which is almost identical in appearance to the HTC One M8 which the company had unveiled last year.
HTC One M8s is an upper mid-range phone having the same brushed aluminum metal unibody and a 5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution LCD display as its predecessor, the M8. Many other specs are identical too, but it is powered by a new 64-bit octa-core chip and replaces the main 4MP “UltraPixel” duo camera with a conventional 13MP duo camera. The secondary lens helpful for focusing effects that has been missing in the M9, is back in the HTC One M8s.
