Taiwan based tech giant HTC to day announced its new mid-range smartphone the Desire 626. The handset was officially unveiled in its home town and is said to be sold for an equivalent price of $189.
Looking to its specs, the device seems to be offering a good competition to the Moto G in this segment. The handset has a 5inch HD display having 720×1280 pixel resolution and is powered with a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset. The camera options for the device include a 13MP primary camera to its back and a 5MP secondary camera to its front. The memory options include 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal expandable storage. The device offers LTE connectivity and has a battery capacity of 2000 mAh. The excellent thing is just like its high-end flagships, this too has got support for DotView cases.
Another version of the device with a octa-core MediaTek chipset is also there and is said to be available in China soon. Take a look at the official images for the device below.
