The Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 sports a 5.3 inch LTPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and comes with a protective layered Gorilla Glass at its surface. At its heart, the smartphone packs a MediaTek MTK6592 chipset with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.4GHz. In addition, the device offers 2GB of RAM, a 13MP rear camera with LED flash while its front hosts a powerful 5MP camera. The device offers a larger 16GB of internal storage along with a provision for microSD card. The Golden Warrior S8 from Lenovo is likely to come with some usual connectivity options like a 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct. The Golden Warrior S8 is basically a dual SIM handset and measures just 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 149 grams only.
What may come as a bit disappointment to Lenovo fans is that this handset runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and not the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The device comes with a sufficiently large 2000mAh of battery backup and Lenovo claims it to be offering 2 days of standby time. However, there is no official word regarding the pricing of the device but the Golden warrior S8 is likely to come with a price tag of $200. Let’s see how the device raises up the competition heat in the market upon its arrival.
