After all the leaks relating to specs, physical model, samples images and much more, the OnePlus has finally gone official with its first Android based handset.

Straight away taking a dig into its specs, the device sports a 5.5” Full HD JDI made display with 401 ppi pixel density, a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Krait 400 CPU, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM, and much specially the CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 KitKat with a flat and minimal UI, and a huge number of custom themes and icons designed specifically for the device and most importantly a huge non-replaceable 3,100mAh Li-Po battery. An surprising ting of the device is that even having a 5.5” big screen it weighs just 162gms (normal weight for other smartphones in this segment is 190g) and the OnePlus claims it to be the lightest smartphone with 5.5” display. Well, its camera is something that has been the hot topic on the radar since past few days. The OnePlus One features a 13MP camera with Sony Exmor sensors with f/2.0 aperture. We have recently seen many camera samples coming straight away from the One’s lens along with a 4K video recording. The camera offers an excellent shutter speed of 0.3 seconds.

The OnePlus has been launched in 16 different countries like Canada, Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, France, Italy, HongKong, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Taiwan, Sweden, UK and USA in two different shades of Silk White and Sandstone Black. Moreover, the device has been so competitively priced that it is surely going to give its competitors a tough run for their money. The unlocked OnePlus One 16GB variant comes for $299 or €269 while the 64GB variant for $350 or €299. Whereas UK will get these two variants for £229 and £269 respectively.
