This January at the CES expo, Asus had announced its three smartphones in the Zenfone series-The Zenfone 4, 5 and 6. All these three smartphones are powered with the dual-core Intel Atom chipsets and runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on-board.
Now Asus has made an announcement on the Chinese website Weibo that it will launch its all three smartphones on April 11 in China. The Zenfone 4 will be made available for $100, Zenfone 5 for $150 and the Zenfone 6 for $200. So it is pretty much expected that all the devices will soon roll-out in other markets as well! For now let us take a look at what these devices have to offer.
Asus Zenfone 4
The Asus Zenfone 4 sports a 4” display with dimensions 124.4×61.4×11.2mm and weighs just 115 grams on hands. This is an entry level smartphone and it offers a WCGA screen resolution with TN TFT. The device has a dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera and 1170mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone 5
The Zenfone 5 comes with a 5” IPD LCD display with 720p resolution and hosts some capacitive sensors for operation wioth regular stylus pen and gloves. The phone bakes a dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 processor that clocks at 2.0GHz, a 1GB RAM, several connectivity options like dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, 3G and microUSB. It offers a 4GB internal storage along with microSD slot. The device offers good battery backup with 2,050mAh Li-Po battery and will be available in four colors like White Red, Black, Blue and Gold.
The device has a special 8MP “PixelMaster” camera with f/2.0 aperture, that is capable of capturing spherical panoramas I.e PanoSpheres and delivers excellent results even in low-light conditions.
Asus Zenfone 6
The Asus Zenfone 6 is a 6” phablet and hosts similar RAM, chipset, connectivity options, dual SIM just like to the Zenfone 5. The Zenfone six has two storage options like 16/32GB. The camera is also enhanced with 13MP. The Asus Zenfone 6 also hosts an audio tech named SonicMaster and the battery has been increased to 3,240mAh capacity.
