Archos , a French electronics retailer has launched a new range of Helium brand tablets. The 4G enabled Helium tablets are the 80b Helium 4G, 101 Helium 4G and Archos 70 Helium 4G respectively.

The first one is a 8-inch display tablet with a 1280×800 resolution, powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT8732 quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM,2 MP main camera, 0.3 MP front cam and 8GB of onboard storage. It supports dual-Sim and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and a 3600 mAh battery.

The other two have same processor, but the Archos 70 Helium 4G has a smaller, – inch with 1024×600 IPS display, and the 101 Helium 4G ups the screen diagonal to 10.1 inches and the resolution to the same 1280×800 pixels. The 10-incher tablet has better cameras, too – a 5MP rear camera unit and a 2MP front one. In terms of battery competency, the 7-incher has a 2500mAh juice, while the 10-incher has a mammoth 6500mAh.

Apparently, instead of counting on high-end specs ,the Helium range of devices are about to bring fast 4G connectivity to mid-range tablets. No updates about pricing of these are out but we expect a probable introduction of them during CES 2015 shortly.
