Apple has rolled out the iOS 8 beta 3 build number 12A4318c to developers for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It allows the T-Mobile USA subscribers to use Wi-Fi Calling with better audio quality. The new firmware also supports new iCloud Drive options and improved Health Application.
The new Health application will make use of the M&7 motion co-processor to track the movement for data sourcing.Apple also added a tracker for caffeine along with other nutritional categories in the Health app. Meanwhile, there are several applications on the App Store that can analyze and track caffeine intake of the corresponding users. Apple has also provided a emergency card feature named Medical ID.These developers will integrate their apps to the iOS 8.
Apart from the new iOS 8 Beta 3 firmware Apple launches new beta versions of the Apple TV, Find My Friends and Find My iPhone apps. Users can download new versions from the new Beta Apps in the App Store. Also QuickType is now an option available in Settings, addition to the other minor tweaks. Certainly, Apple has initiated seeding the third beta of the Mac OS X Yosemite, too.
The iOS 8 Beta 3 is specially made for developers to tweak their applications for the new iOS 8. It includes updates and fixes for the bugs found in the prior versions. The reports revealed that the iOS 8 Beta 3 will be the last beta update of the mobile software before the official version releases in the last quarter.
