Recent sources suggest that Apple may collaborate with the fitness band maker Nike in order to come up with its much awaited iWatch.
Apple and Nike share a fruitful relation since long back with many iDevices sporting the Nike+ app. Moreover, sources convey that the iWatch made by the duo will also focus on constant movement instead of just fitness tracking. Nike has recently brought it FuelBand project to halt and now the company is giving more efforts in software and wants to spread its Nike+ suite by releasing a public API for developers, which seems to interested in incorporating the same in iWatch.
It is said that the smartband from Apple will also be able to make electronic payments for iBeacon technology or the possible AirDrop Wi-Fi enabled sharing method introduced in iOS 7.Moreover, there is also a possibility of using Apple’s latest services like CarPlay.
The iWatch could possibly arrive in Q3 of this year and according to preious rumors, LG will be exclusively making it.
