Recently Apple has released Apple iOS 8.2 to the registered developers. It is released to the developer, hoping that the developer will have more time in testing whether the apps that they developed is compatible with the latest version and make changes if it is not. On top of that, the developers also can feedback to Apple for improvements before the final version is released to public. The update is available on both over-the-air download from the Settings or through iOS Dev Center. The total size for the update is about 258MB. Therefore, it might take some time to download it.
The update will include bug fixes and a few enhancements. On top of that, it also includes a new beta version of Apple TV software for Apple TV (third-gen), which is available through iOS Dev Center. In the iOS Dev Center, the release with build number 6C121 will include Xcode 6.2 beta 5 with WatchKit whereas the build number from 12D5480a to 12D5461b will include iOS 8.2 beta 5 release.
Based on the previous release, it is revealed that Apple will bring back data points to the Health app and the newer version will also include short descriptions for measurements supported by app. The latest iOS 8.2 will also support WatchKit and Apple Watch. Here are the new features and functionalities of the upcoming device.
Tim Cook has also announced that Apple Watch will be available in April. Most probably, the iOS 8.2 will also released during that period too.
