The Amazon smartphone has been quite in observation these and few images showing the device’s design has been earlier leaked. There has been earlier news saying the Amazon smartphone will come with 3D feature and could be released sometime next month of June. Recent reports coming out of China shows that the Amazon is likely to undergo mass production of its smartphone in the second quarter and will also have the much rumored 3D display along with gesture based control. This system is believed to be designed by placing four camera placed at the opposite corners of the display.
The recent news show that Amazon will likely make use of Pixart’s CMOS Image Sensors who is already believed to be supplying sensors to many other smartphone manufacturers across the globe. A recent device in the market sporting this sensor is the Pantech Vega LTE and Amzon could soon come up with this technology. Moreover, the report shows that the retail giant is planning to sell nearly 3-4 hundred thousand devices this year, with an estimated 3 to 4 million devices being sold in the product’s entire life cycle.
We may see the first glimpses of the device next month as Amazon could possibly launch it in June and the device is expected to hit the markets in September. The device is likely to come with a Snapdragon 801 chipset and would be available for 4G LTE network.
